Natural Handcrafted Soap Bar

 You may be asking yourself "Why should I buy handmade soap when I can get more soap for less money at the grocery store?" Generally, the commercial soaps carried at most chain stores are full of chemical additives that not only dry out your skin but can lead to rashes and other irritations. This is not only because of the synthetic additives in the soap, but also because most soap companies take the glycerin out of their soap. The commercial soap bars in most grocery stores are actually synthetic detergents.

Handmade Soap is soap in its true, pure form. It gently cleanses away excess oils and bacteria, but doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils. Using commercial soaps over time leave your skin dried out. Natural handmade soap, that only uses natural ingredients, can restore the moisture to your skin, while still getting you clean. 

Natural soap is made from the following ingredients: olive oil, coconut oil, essential oils, lye, Organic SUSTAINABLE palm oil, Botanicals, Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Almond oil, Avocado oil, Argan oil, Natural preservatives.

A note regarding lye: In the handcrafted soap making process, oils and fats are combined with lye to produce soap and glycerin. Saponification is the chemical reaction created by combining these oils or fats with lye and water. Once this process is complete, the lye and oil molecules have combined and chemically changed into soap and glycerin. There is NO LYE remaining in the final bar of soap. 

Storage Tip: Handcrafted soap is best stored out of water so that it air dries. Rest your soap on a draining soap dish or stand it on its side, out of the spray range of the shower head. If left in water, handcrafted soap tends to dissolve due to the soap and glycerin molecules that wash clean with water.

SOAP SCENTS:

-Honey Oats: Made with oats, and honey purchased from a local Amish community, it is scented with soothing, tranquil essential oils. Contains pieces of oats and chamomile flowers  that will serve to exfoliate your skin.

Lavender: Lavender is a flowering plant of the mint family known for its beauty; its sweet floral fragrance brings calmness and tranquility. You won't be able to decide if you want this soap in the shower, or on your linens shelf. 

-Dark Forest: The scents of cedarwood, spruce and eucalyptus contained in this soap will make you feel as though you are deep in the forest every time you shower or wash your hands.

-Rosemary's Garden: Woodsy rosemary combines with medium notes of floral lavender and palmarosa and deep notes of patchouli, for a well balanced scented blend.

-Sweet Lemon: This soap reflects the beauty of a sunny summer day. The color is bright and the scent is uplifting, with high tones. Shower with it for a great start of the day.

-Goats Milk Soap: Goat's milk soaps are great for people with dry or sensitive skin - scented with an energizing blend of the essential oil litsea cubeba and the floral note of palmarosa, with a light citrus scent.

-Patchouli Orange: First you’ll pick up the bright scent of freshly squeezed oranges that gives the top note of this intoxicating fragrance. It's followed by the mysterious and deep scent of patchouli which lingers to sustain the satisfying experience of this soap.

-Activated Charcoal : Activated charcoal has the amazing ability to control facial oil and draw away the impurities that build up in the pores.This deep cleansing soap is also scented with essential oils of lavender, vetiver and amyris.

-Prairie Flower : This soap is made with the addition of rose petals and scented with the essential oils of lavender, palmarosa, lemongrass and grapefruit.
