Traditions Pottery - Traditions Pottery is owned by Michael and Janet Calhoun. Founded in 1992 after training, and inspiration from Janet's parents (Glenn and Lula). Janet is a 6th generation potter from the Owens family. She strives to continue the traditional shapes such as Rebekah pitchers, candlesticks, and teapots, as well as her own designs of functional, and decorative items. Mike started making pottery shortly after marrying Janet in 1986. Michael also does functional wares including large serving bowls and covered pitchers.
